I have four bedroom house. My monthly bill from LIPA is around $280. Just wondering what you guys are paying and trying to figure out how I can lower my bill. All my lights are LED.

All the major appliances are energy saver.

I live in Suffolk county.

It's not about being more efficient. It's about NY rates

That sounds about right. We pay on average of $220 for a 1900sqft 4 bedroom house.

My LIPA bill has been $0 for the past year or so, since PSEG took over.

My PSEG bill however, for a 2 bedroom townhouse/condo has been averaging $130/month (LED bulbs).

Lol!

4 Bedroom split/colonial about 2000'.

I don't do the balanced billing but I just averaged out past 12 months to $185.00/mo.
This included Christmas lights that drove up the bill $100 from mid Nov to beginning of Jan.

Beside that I'm pretty good at making sure lights and electronics are off in rooms we are not in.

In the winter so far, it's anywhere between $85-115. We have a 5 bdr/2bath house. We have 2 zones, but we don't use the upstairs. We have solar panels too, but not energy credits in the bank.

Now the oil bill we just got yesterday
