I could write a book on Manhasset too. I spent 59 years in the TNH and had a bunch of friends from school that lived in Manhasset.

Currently I have family and friends in GC and friends in Manhasset. JMO, but forced to make a choice, I would give the edge to GC as I have said because I think they are equal all around but in terms of accessibility it s far and away easier to get anywhere from GC. It is more centrally located and for that reason my money would be on GC. The rest of the stuff is all a push as far as I am concerned.

As a GC resident, the primary concerns with 555 Stewart Ave are:
- Traffic situation. It's already bad near RF. We need more housing THERE?
- Schools. The study only lists a handful of students who were supposed to enroll in our schools. That number is wayyyy off
- Taxes. Why does a developer need a break to build in a highly desired town? Let them pay FULL taxes immediately to support the two problems above (traffic and schools)

Yes, affordable housing is also part of 555 SA but I've heard no one complain about this (maybe only about the far-left lawyers who have been suing the town for years).

On the flip side, that central location equals a lot of traffic especially during rush hour when Franklin Ave becomes a crawl and even much of the NE section of town becomes a GPS cutthrough. Manhasset offers equally if not better highway access with the LIE and Northern State making up the unofficial southern border (the school district line actually ends a little further north). The Port Washington train line is also superior to any of the lines that service GC.

GC is a pretty big place though. Getting from one end to the other can take a considerable amount of time depending on traffic, and your east-to-west options are somewhat limited unless you really know your way around.
