The bills are higher and higher. We are using less electric but the bills are outrageous now. We are sick of this. Has anyone seen ridiculous higher bills?

The cost per KWH hasn’t changed much in the last 10 years. Sits around 20-21 cents per KWH. If your bill is higher you are using more electric.

You already posted about your electric bill a couple weeks ago and didn't answer some questions

Monthly bill or no?
How long have you been there? What were your bills at this time last year?
Are you working from home due to the pandemic? You said "we" in the other thread - got a spouse? kids? are they suddenly home all day too?

This is the same as the previous thread where everyone tries to help and op gives vague uninformative answers. It doesnt sound like anyone here has seen an unusual spike in what they normally pay. Review the questions people have asked, do some investigating around the house and call pseg.

In my town, PSEG has not done an actual reading in months and the last 3 bills were estimated. This month the bills are actual readings and are between $700 - $900. I'm expecting a huge bill also.

Thats exactly what’s happening they haven’t done actuals in months due to the smart meter upgrades. So if you aren’t on balanced billing people are getting socked with 3 months of underpayment especially after a hot summer where many were working from home
