Must have been her other thread and there are no particular winter driving issues in the Vanderbilt peninsula section I suggested. (Are you thinking of the other part of Centerport ?)

Any of them are fine.
Says someone who resides in a much lower ranked district surely, hmmmmph.

Commack, Smithtown and Haborfields districts are actually all top 3rd on LI in reality, but I digress. Not sure about Nortport but it probably is too.

coming from a district that actually was very run of the mill average myself, I can see the difference.

You must've revealed it on an earlier forum or something like that, who knows in almost 12 years of being on this forum who knows what you posted back in 2009.

The funny thing is, it’s LI, aside from like Wyandanch or Roosevelt or whatever, all the districts are pretty much on par with each other. You can argue how great Jericho is compared to Oceanside or East Islip but is it really that different? No. Not really.
Bragging rights probably more than anything else.

It’s perception, Syosset could be a horrible district and hicksville could be the best on LI. It really doesn’t matter cause hicksville has an avg at best reputation and Syosset is considered elite.

Even the danch and Roosevelt put kids into ivy leagues. I don’t care if your poor and a minority and get a slight edge cause affirmative action to the ivy’s. No one is getting into Harvard, Yale etc by accident.
