I used modern comfort. 7 years later, still all good. Owner was on jobsite a few days himself too.

not to hijack.

I purchased a 12x24x54 Above Ground Pool. I am going to keep it above ground. I got the slider ladder.

I am in the Town of Hempstead. I know that I need to obtain a Permit. Do I need to get a Fence for an Above Ground Pool w/ Safety Ladder? Secondly, do I need a permit for electrical work?

I am also looking for an above-ground installer who can possibly do permit and electrical work (one-stop-shop). If I have to go separately for Pool installation and electrical stuff that is fine. However, I need some guidance/contacts. Any info is helpful at this point.

thank you,

Most pool stores don't do their own installation work. Backyard Masters sells pools, and then refers you to an installation company that does the actual work. So really the question is what is the reputation of the installer. I can tell you that they don't really refer you to the best guys, mostly just general construction people who may or may not be able to install a pool. May or may not have insurance. May or may not use day laborers. May or may not vanish like a shady merchant in a Bugs Bunny cartoon in a little whirl of dust if you have a problem.

BM makes their money on patio furniture and spas. Pool are a secondary business to them, and it shows. Recommend you go elsewhere.
