Can I ask what results owning those cities have done for black people?
Why does a politician need to offer a specific package to black people to vote for? What kind of package in your opinion, would make black voters go Republican or even Libertarian?

I don't think that will ever sink in... they can continue to talk about capturing the black vote, but it is futile and your "triple down" comment is spot on... how they miss it is laughable because the MAGA crowd is the exact same way... the more 45 is exposed for what he is, the more they triple down on wanting him... it is the exact same dynamic and they can't see it in the mirror... the classic "when will they wake up", "they are just sheep", etc... saying that as they wear the stupid red hats, chant LGB, and ignore the clear evidence of following a selfish con man.

The GOP best strategy continues to be voter suppression, intimidation, saying that mail-in voting isn't legitimate, etc... targeting the black vote by silencing them at the ballot box is what they will always resort to because it has provided the only tangible results recently. Sure they can gerrymander their way into winning local elections and run entire states that they have a minority in, but that is exposed when elections hit the state level... we just saw it in the governor and senate elections where they couldn't win... what is really telling is that they could only squeak by barely taking the house and I frankly question how that is going to work in reality when the Dems only need a few flips on key votes... that will happen for sure and the entire congress was lost for all intents and purposes when it's going to really matter.

Sadly, GOP ignores the elephant in the room... an entire platform based on demonizing the other party and awful policy stance on huge hot button topics screws them... I can hardly wait until 45 enters the race and does the Dems dirty work by picking off all the good GOP options for POTUS... if he can't win he will burn the whole thing down... pass the popcorn.

LOL "voter suppression" right there your entire ridiculous rant was exposed for what it was. Not even going to bother to argue with you on that ridiculous point because I know it will be like talking to a wall. And no, Im no Trump guy, he was a great disappointment as president and is now self imploding, he also likely won't even be able to run as he almost certainly will be indicted at this point by either the DOJ or Atlanta DA (or both).

And I don't think you understand how the house works. We likely will have the speakership and all committee chairs. Outside of budget, the speaker decides what goes to the floor for a vote with very few exceptions. The GOP also follows the "Hastert" rule meaning only votes the conference overwhelmingly supports goes to the floor. This is why immigration reform failed years ago, the dems likely had enough GOP defectors in the house to squeak it by, but since the conference was against it, it never got to the floor for a vote. Pelosi also would never bring anything to the floor she wasnt sure would pass, nor did any GOP legislation ever see the light of day. Face facts the Biden agenda is effectively DOA for the next 2 years, there is no "flipping a few key votes" when those votes will never happen. Its the same in the senate which will likely be 50/50, Schumer decides what goes to the floor for a vote so the GOP dosent have a chance to flip someone like manchin.

Oh and the GOP won the popular vote this time, by millions of votes. They turned Florida once a purple state, deep red pretty much taking off the table. Texas dosent have a single democrat in statewide office anymore. They made further gains with hispanic voters, held a key senate seat in blue Wisconsin, and flipped NV gov in a blue state. NY will also have the largest GOP congressional delegation in decades. Red wave certainly didn't happen, GOP got cocky and the polls were wrong, Trump was certainly a factor as was some absolutely awful candidates he pushed. Still Ill take the house (slim of a margin as it is) and halting any further damage any day over the alternative.

This gap is closing in the House popular vote, let's see what it winds up being (the GOP likely wins the House vote, but it will not be as large as you think). This will also be the least amount of seats the party that did not hold the Presidency picked up in the House since 2002. There were some examples or pockets on each side where Republicans or Democrats did better or worse than they have in the past in those areas. With that said, overall this was very much a status quo or 50/50 election and not what you typically see in a midterm.

It had shrunk somewhat but it’s very very unlikely the GOP won’t win the popular vote handily. There simply aren’t enough outstanding votes left to count. Nothing is typical anymore, the old “history shows” has pretty much been out the window since 2016. Even in 2020 Biden won by a slim margin (in swing states), and actually lost house seats rather then gain more which the president usually does in an initial election. As far as senate goes it’s status quo in a year where the map favored democrats, and the GOP squeaked away enough seats to grab the house. Get ready for gridlock.

Yep, came into the 2020 election with 199 the Repubs will end up with about 227. More than enough to prevent another green initiative.

I mean voters didn’t flip the house to the GOP to advance Bidens agenda further that’s for sure lol. And the small majority may save republicans from themselves, there aren’t enough votes to waste time on impeachments that won’t go anywhere, or hold the debt ceiling hostage in a bad economy
