If it were up to me theyd move to Radio Central in RP and broadcast to all of LI.

Theyre more like FUV or DST in Woodstock. A real gem on LI.

I get both clearly and choose EHM.

I just put it on and so far in ten minutes they've played two Eric Clapton songs that are newer than 1990 and the other song in between was The Gin Blossoms, so they're not exactly endearing themselves to me so far. But I do vaguely remember listening to this station before and it being good...

I'm gonna keep listening and hope it gets better after this acoustic Depeche Mode song

You get 101.9 in Rocky Point? The only city station I can usually get past like Selden/Centereach is 104.3

Try 107.1FM "The Peak" WXPK from Westchester. Internet radio, Pandora.com and Slacker.com are also my favorites. Hopefully available in cars soon.

Chili Peppers, Bush into ACDC kinda sucks for a format too.

We get decent reception on both and I like acoustic DM.

FYI, since leaving Q104, the PM of the formats of WBAB and WXAQ, Bob Buchmann, has resurfaced on KLOS in LA. LA was probably itching to hear Aqua Lung 4 times a day.
