I can tell you that "Mammas", the Italian Restaurant in that Copiague shopping center with Radio Shack and CVS, is one of the best Italian restaurants around. The food there is completely amazing.

people I know happen to know the owners of Mamas and they said that the kitchen is so clean, you can eat off the floor. The owner is very meticulous.

yes, we know her from going there for years. She is very nice and is very meticulous...she owns something else here in Amityville, I think a shopping center if I am correct.. I use to go to mama's waaaay back when ..it was a tiny little place , my friends and I use to go for the Tuesday pasta night ..lol My cousins live in Howard Beach..we took them there last year and they drive out here just to go there... not easy to impress them eating out, they are very picky Italians...

PS..if you like Greek food you must try Athena on Merrick Rd. Amityville... it's excellent!

So, that gives you a more realistic look of the park. I'm sure it's better than those aerial views on the internet.

Was that the same restaurant that was cited in today's Newsday for paying substandard wages (or something) ?
