Oh, even better.

If you can spend $700K I'm genuinely curious why you want EN? Do you want to have the biggest house on the block? Some people like that, nothing wrong with it, just curious.

There are currently 120 homes for sale in East Northport ranging from a low of $285,000 to $1,490,000. The median asking price is $524,950.

1.4M for E.Npt is just complete buffoonery.

Tom, I'm guessing that those 120 houses that are for sale are in the "East Northport, NY 11731" ZIP Code postal zone, and, in addition to houses in the Hamlet of East Northport, also includes houses that are in the Hamlet of Greenlawn, the Hamlet of Elwood and the Hamlet of Commack that have an "East Northport, NY 11731" mailing address.

Frankly, for 1.4 MM I would not buy in East Northport either. And I live here and am a real estate agent!

600K to 700K is not out of line for some parts of town.

Id tend to agree.
600-700k strikes me as dame near top o' the sane market there.

I love E. Npt. great town, my cousin lives there.
(We almost moved there too)

1.4 is Loco.

Well, we actually really want to stay in Nassau (specifically Massapequa...south of Merrick Rd) since my husbands job is in Westbury. But 700K in "South" Massapequa gets you a small split that needs work on a 100 X 80 lot. We want a newer colonial that doesn't need work and has an ingound pool or with enough property to put one in. Schools also matter to us since I have a young son. We've been looking for over a year now and are just about giving up on finding what we want in the areas we want here in Nassau. I'd need to spend about 1 million to get what we really want here. Where else in Western Suffolk would you look if you had 700K to spend??

Id much rather be in E Northport than Massapequa.
(Im a North shore guy ....that and my relatives in Motzohpizzah refer to Rush Limbaugh as "the news".)

You'll do well from Huntington to Port Jefferson on 700k

If youd come past 112 you'd be Waterfront.
