I still don't see the point in these lists

"Baccalaureate School for Global Education"

vs

"Cold Spring Harbor High School"

One school: you live in the district, you go.

The other: you take a placement exam, you score high enough, you get in with the other 10% of students.

What does this achieve, other than me having to point out how bogus the comparison is to every "destroy the public school system" foaming at the mouth Sean Hannity fan that posts here.

Im sure Herricks is fine but didnt we collectively dismiss USN&WP as complete BS months ago since they are including private schools and had a flawed methodology?

You mean not every school on the Island is a gold or silver winner?
What's your point about the Baccalaureate schools? They're public schools that give a chance to kids who may not live in a school district like CSH. I don't see a problem with them being included.

I already told you what the point is, you just don't want to hear it.

They're schools that are able to select who attends.

I know you're trying really hard to push an agenda, but being dishonest weakens your case, it doesn't strengthen it. Comparing open enrollment schools to selective ones is dumb and/or dishonest. If I have to explain that again, guess what that makes the person who asks the same question..again?
