My child is going to The University of Scranton and I am wondering if anyone knows an easy way for her to take a bus/train from LI to PA. Would appreciate any input.

I know this is going to come across as mean-spirited, but unless someone is in your exact situation, all you are asking for is someone to do research for you. Surely, in this day and age, you can do the research yourself.

I remember the Bus from the Port Authority stopping in Scranton when I was going to school in Syracuse.

So, I guess I would take the LIRR to Penn. Then walk or take the 2 subway stops from Penn to the Port Authority. Then Grey Hound to Scranton.
