Moving to Malibu from South Florida and have 3 young (5,4,10months) children. Anyone have any info on the public and private schools there? I have done some general research and know based on test scores the schools ratings but I was hoping for some more personal experience information. Any info will help!! Thanks

The Santa Monica-Malibu district is a lot better than LAUSD. The elementary schools tend to be very good in this district. Quality deteriorates as they get older, but Malibu high is still a lot better than most LA public schools. The main problem there is the fast social life.

I attended Our Lady of Malibu from 1967 to 1973. I lived in Canoga Park and OLM had a bus come out there and transport us to school. Jack Webb's kids went there with me.

The only bad thing about OLM is they brainwash the kids with religion.
