Hi,

I know many cities in Southern California have got rid or in the process of removing the red light cameras at traffic intersections.

Which of the cities in LA county still have them?

How about Torrance, Cerritos, Santa Monica, Culver city and Elsegundo?

Thanks for your help.

Culver City and they are in the oddest places as money not safety is what they seek. Be careful city limits are not easily predictable

West Hollywood has them at 8 intersections:

Robertson/Beverly
Melrose/La Cienega
Santa Monica/Fairfax
Santa Monica/La Brea
Fountain/ Crescent Heights
Fountain/Fairfax
Fountain/La Brea
Sunset/La Cienega

All the Metro ones along the orange line.

Thank you both.

I maybe relocating to LA county in the near future. I want to avoid cities (Culver and West Hollywood for now) with redlight cameras as much as possible.

I want to know if there are any more cities in LA county with photo enforced lights.

I didn't reply to your PM because I'm not sure. But like I said Santa Monica has none. The city of LA also got rid of all of theirs as did the Veterans Administration which ran one by Wilshire/405. The city of Beverly Hills got rid of MOST of theirs... but there is still one at Sunset/Hillcrest (near WeHo border), a nasty one at Wilshire/Whitter, a couple on Olympic Blvd.

WeHo has 8 of them which the above poster mentioned. Culver City has an insane amount... streets like Jefferson and Washington will have the most.

Not sure about Torrance Cerritos etc, someone else might be able to help you.

I know they still around in Long Beach and West Hollywood, and almost certain metro rail stops across the county.

There are 3 on Mc Bean Parkway in Valencia that I know of, there are probably more. And they enforce them too, cost my friend $500.

I'd love to have an app (Waze?) tell me whenever I'm approaching a red light with a camera.

Isn't the intersection of Wilshire/Sepulveda in the City of LA?
