Ahhh....Too bad, maybe they're manipulating the BBB rating somehow as well.

There seem to be quite a few people who don't like them, but we had a good experience with WSR. Having said that, I was on it every day, two or three times a day, and jumped on listings as soon as they appeared and it took us 3 weeks to find something. Good listings are snapped up straight away. Still, aside from driving and looking for listings, they were the best, most comprehensive option for us. It's free to landlords so maybe they get more listings?

Good information, thanks. Like I said, I know three people who've used them relatively recently with no problems.

The rental market may be getting tight enough that people will have to check it 2-3 times a day like you did, rather than save a listing with the intention of getting back to it later in the week. Sometimes later in the week is too late in some markets. In NYC, the brokers recommend having all of the paperwork information needed already together - financial, employment, pet info, co-signers if needed, and deposit money ready to go so if one finds something that day, one can offer to take it right then.

Maybe that's the cause of the bad reviews. You have to have a lot of patience to try again like you did - if you find a place and you end up finding out it's gone already. Some people aren't that patient.
