Let's stop beating around the bush and just get an all inclusive thread. Yes traffic is worse, yes houses are more expensive, yes renting is more expensive, yes gas is more expensive, yes we are in a drought and will be drinking poop water soon, yes crime is getting worse, yes the Lakers have gotten much much worse

i have a better job and get paid better now. the kings are now an annual contender for the stanley cup. the clippers have replaced the lakers as annual contenders for the nba title and dropped their no good owner. same for the dodgers. air quality seems to be improving every year. progress is being made on an expanded rail system. it's all how you look at. i try to be a half glass full type of person.

I have a better job and making more money but my rent has gone up $500/mo for the same size apartment. So that's how I look at it. I'm also a Boston transplant so I don't care too much about LA sports really. My Pats just keep winning every year so that is good. I was pulling for the Dodgers this year but they are poorly run. They should have given up prospects for Price or Hamels at the trade deadline
