What does this thread have to do with Fred Trump?

Comrade Trumpkovich managed to lose $916 million during the roaring 90s, an embarrassment so complete, he had to save face to his gullible flock by lying that the Clinton years were the worst since the Great Depression.

He's the Jaden Smith of real estate developers.

The checks from the Clinton camp and Soros to those "victims" must of stopped .
Even trying to paint Trump as Bill Cosby or perhaps more appropriately ..Bill Clinton didn't even work .
They really thought they had it in the bag .

I guess "Russia" ruined that plan too ?

Part of long-term success is failure. I know it is difficult for communists to grasp this.

^^When you start the game on third base, success is basically guaranteed.

Trump may be a skilled entertainer but based on investment skills he has underperformed the market over the long run. That ain't what most people call winning.

Forbes Welcome

Success is basically guaranteed ?
Then why are there millions of millionaires in the US but only 540 billionaires ?

See the Forbes article I linked by a finance Professor at the Univ. of Texas.

Based on the compound annual growth of the market from the 1970's (when Trump took over Daddy's real estate business) through year-end 2015 Trump would be worth over $23 billion. That is far more than he was claiming to be worth during the campaign ($10 billion).

If he had invested in a market weighted index fund and reinvested the dividends he'd be worth far more than he claims to be worth now. And that is just if he had kept pace with the AVERAGE performance of the market!

So yeah, that is not winning "big league" at all. That is underperforming the market....a big league loser.

Translation = you either don't understand finance 101 or you have no argument to refute that Trump is a loser in business.

If it's so easy to turn millions into billions why are there millions of people in America "stuck " at the millionaire and multi millionaire level ?

Why such a lack of billionaires ?

Make it's not so easy ?...

Are all those people with millions in net worth all economic losers ?
If Trumps next worth is lower than Buffet or Gates that also makes him an economic loser ?

I don't believe he ever claimed to be the richest person in the world or country .
If he did please post it .
