Looking for nice, clean apt. that is smoker friendly in the San Fernando Valley, preferably Sherman Oaks or close to it.

If you know of any nice complexes that allow folks to smoke in their apartments. Please reply with an address and any other info.

Details:
1 bdrm/1 bath
$1850 MAX
must allow smoking
must allow cats
must be clean/safe
prefer ground floor

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Doesn't quite answer the OP's question.

Default No lectures please

No lectures--please. This is for an older family member who has been to hell and back. She's gonna smoke. Just trying to find her a nice place to live.

good idea but that isn't the question. People smoke for different reasons and who are we to lecture them? I am an x smoker, can't believe I ever did smoke but in the 50s and 60s it was what young people did. Let me also add, not everyone who smokes ends up suffering and/or dying from smoke related illnesses. Heck, I knew a lady who died about 7 years ago, heavy smoker and finally died of natural causes at 105. Your lectures and attitudes are not helping one bit.

Times have changed. She'll have a hard time finding a smoke-friendly place.

A place that allows smoking and cats isn't likely to be clean, but good luck.

Or they could start vaping and riding a hoverboard instead.

In California it will be difficult ti find a nice apartment that allows smoking. Would it be possible for someone to take her to a vape store and let her try that out? It's worked for lots of people, it's just nicotine replacement but is enough like smoking to get some people off of cigarettes

Thank you! Yes, we've been trying to get her to vape--hahah! She's in her 70s so it's a tough sell but we will keep working on her. Thanks for your thoughtful message.
