LOL at above. You don't need a teaching license to teach in LA last I checked. They are hurting for teachers in NO so I would say yes.

Hi,

You will absolutely need Louisiana certification to teach in a public school anywhere in Louisiana. There is quite a bit of information about this on the Teach Louisiana website. Here is a specific link for out-of-staters: https://www.teachlouisiana.net/teachers.asp?PageID=39 (broken link)

Louisiana has reciprocity with most other states. You'll be given a year long certification while you work on getting permanent Louisiana certification.

Good luck,
Scott
