The EXACT same attitude this small town midwest girl had when we first knew my husband got a job here. We were here for 3 years and he got a promotion/transfer. 2 months afterwards, we were sure the title and extra money were NOT worth leaving what we now consider home, even tho he was transferred to our home state.

Actually we are here in Louisville at the moment for a convention and I'm already getting more homesick as the time gets closer for us to leave.

Thanks Missy. Wed afternoon - Sunday morning was just not long enough! Glad the 11 hour drive is over, was happy to see the kitties and looking forward to picking up the pupdog tomorrow, but already planning our next visit!

Hoping one day hubby can transfer back. Then we'll NEVER leave!

Comixchick you sound like we might have been separated at birth , ha ha
Im all about comics, art , drawing them and stuff like that.....

You will LOVE the Louisville and especially the Bardstown road section. We loved it so much
we are going to move there. As an old hippy, it reminds me of the way cool arts towns were
in the 70's.....friendly people, art, music, the vibe is just electric on a fall evening. Im moving
up in about 5 months and my Wife will follow in the summer, I cant wait !
You will love it !! Best of luck to you .........

.:::EDIT:::. Oh yeah, Shhhhhhhhhh....... keep all this stuff a secret !!!
