how are they? i use to stay in louisville last year but had to move back home to michigan because of financial reason, and now that i have everything back on track my family and i plan on moving back there after i have this baby. And i use to stay in preston oaks apartments, and i dont want to stay in another apartment like those with my kids. SO can anybody give me any input about the countrybrook apartments? Thank you for your input.

I've never lived there or visited them so I really can't say. I'm putting my 2 cents in because no one else has and I grew up not far from there so I can speak to the location which is terrific. The ner interstate ramp at Westport at the Watterson just opened so you'll have terrific access to the highway. The Westport Village Shopping center is very nice and you'll have terrific access to the malls and the rest of St. Matthews (e.g. Krogers & the new Target) too. You can hardly go wrong unless the place is dumpy and poorly managed. A visit and walk through will help. Good luck.

I just moved here to Louisville myself, and Countrybrook was one of the apartments I considered. I visited them, and was NOT impressed. The photos you see online are very artfully done...they don't look that nice in real life. Their pool area looks hideous, with chain link fencing - very ugly. As for the apartment itself, the washer dryer connection is right in the corner of the kitchen - no closet, nothing. I do not want my laundry out in the open for everyone to see! Also, the model shows crown-moldiing/trim, which is a nice feature, right? I asked if that was available in the apartments, and she told me no, none of the apartments have that option. A minor thing, I know, but why show me a model with features that I can't get in the apartment I move into if I want? Overall it wasn't completely horrible, but definitely not what I expected for the area of town they are in.

I ended up choosing Canter Chase and am very happy with my choice, the apartment is beautiful and the grounds and amenities are beautiful and all is well maintained. Another apartment I considered was Park Laureate, they are beautiful too, but didn't have any of the floor plans I needed available when I needed to move.

Its so bad I thought it was section 8, but I can't find evidence to confirm that.

Very bad place, and for the rent they ask you can find far better.
