He's a troll and you all are feeding him. it works best if you can use self control and totally ignore him - I admit i failed, too, tho. 'I imagine" explains everything, huh.

Report him using that little icon up in the upper right hand side of all posts. We don't have a moderator for the Madison form right now, so all reports go to a general location that all mods see. The more there are, the more likely someone will notice.

He reminds me of a guy from a few months ago named Hotbug, who mysteriously disappeared. I wonder if it's the same person.

I guess people thinking about moving to madison now know the collective intolerance that madison is so (in)famous for. Remember, this thread started out with intolerance of "rednecks" and "conservatives", wanting to be away from them. When one cannot move away from what they are intolerant of, then they groupthink and collectively show their intolerance by doing the amish 'shunning' thing.

Oh, and of course, ask for the banishment.

For the most part, this is the type of people that love madison, this is the type of people that reside in madison and this is the type people that RUN madison.

Oh, and for the records, 'dan savage' is from madison and loved madison. Reminds me of someone that used to hang out at a bicycle shop in the downtown area, very downtown.

I don't mean to get specific about another member, in spite of the above attack posts, but you've been here for two years and only have made 133 posts and now I have made this board unusable to you?

The fabric of madison, what madison is all about, I really do not miss.
But it's great to be reminded of it every once in a while so I can be thankful of where I'm at nowadays.

The only attacks in this thread have been on Madison and people responding sincerly to the OP, not the other way around.

No one wants to ban anyone for political or world views (no matter how distorted). People want to ban trolls who are simply trying to start cyber fights.

I do agree with you on that. Living here is somewhat surreal. It's more liberal than Ann Arbor, which was pretty liberal. It's something I have had to adjust to. That being said, the Kchomp guy is pushing an agenda that is not really relevant to what the OP was looking for, which is why I called him out.

So have I in previous threads and I even sent him a message telling him that he is making us all conservatives look bad, but he just doesn't get it. Don't get me wrong I love to bash liberals and there ideas but there is a time and place for that ahem Politics Forum!

HAHAHA Excellent comment. Grew up in Madison and now live in Portland. So true.
Never thought about this.
Thanks - You made me laugh out loud.

No doubt that living in the various "lib lands," has made for awesome entertainement.
