Getting worse lately? How so?

In what context?

Clearly you are not suggesting that this beautiful weather is getting 'worse' in some manner.

Seems to be better when you go eastward.

And yes, QFT, I can definitely see that with Philly lately!

Just like the snow in 2009 and 2010.
I'm not too sure what you're trying to say here. Snow in 09-10 was about normal back in the 1960,s and 70's even this far up the coast. I have not noticed any large beyond the norm weather or storms.

NY, Philly, Lousyana storms in the summer are epic and apocolyptic when compared to Maine storms. My first time noticing was in the 70's, long before global warming became a joke and climate change was used as a potential replacement.

Good point.... unless s/he's actually a writer who feel invisible where s/he's living. Actually s/he doesn't have to move to Maine to get out of the high crime rates. Lancaster County and even western chester county in PA has really low crime rates and still gives him/her access to all his/her old haunts in and near Philly.

I know this because I've lived in those place for the past 40 years, though it looks like I only have about 5 weeks left before its all Maine for me and the DW.
