MW, you're always in my circle of good thoughts and prayers.

The last time I was trying to sell a house my MIL suggested buying a little statue of St. Joseph and burying him in the back yard - face up with his head closest to the house. It worked! Within a month we had a buyer. My sister has also tried this...it worked for her too! As folklore (?) goes you're suppose to dig him up when you leave and bring him into your new house and place it.....somewhere... I just can't remember where. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it!

Good luck!

We did this too and sold our house just before the market plummeted in the area we were selling. You can get one at most Christian book stores.

hmmm....maybe I'll try this. If the girls ever get ready we're going to Bangor today. There's a Christian store near the mall.

Mermaid, I hope to not be moving to a new home. At least, not soon. We will be buying though!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate this. I hadn't been in the house since the new tenant moved in. Steve deals with this. It was shocking to say the least. The agent kept assuring me that "it is what it is and at this price it's great." It's not in bad shape, it's just... I guess the best thing to say is, it's not pretty inside anymore.

Thanks for the petco pep talk. Actually maple "click's" because she's walking on ceramic tiles.

I have observed that trend previously when watching the olympics.

I have not seen any video of these olympics yet.

Not much coverage on ABC or PBS, I guess.

I just heard that.

Our gymnasts average 105 pounds, while theirs average 76 pounds and a bunch of them are too young. Below the legal age for competing but the judges don't care.

I would like to be watching the olympics.

But at least we can watch the news reporting.

Have we won any gold yet?
