We picked four quarts of blackberries in 20-25 minutes today. At $4-6 a quart roadside for berries you can pick for free, $$ adds up quickly.

We pick just for ourselves right now. In the "bigger things" thing I mentioned last week, we'll be selling.

Default Portland

Can anyone tell me about Portland? I am an artist. How about other areas, outside Portland or inland? I am very much a hippie retread, so very earthy and simple in my life. Don't need much, but have the money to live anywhere and Maine is it.

You have got to come out here during the Hippy Fair!

We have a thread going about it now.

MOFGA [Maine Organic <pot> Farmers and Growers Association] sponsors it.

It is held in Unity Maine.

It is commonly called: "The Common ground Fair".
