Smile down the chute!

The toboggan fest has become quite an event. When I moved here 16 yrs ago, I did a brief hitch at Wayfarer Marine in Camden. We had two toboggan teams from the shop. The carpenters, riggers, & mechanics built a couple of wicked toboggans. It was a lot of fun in spite of the crazy cold and windy conditions that weekend. This was before it became the event it is today. Great mid-winter fun - just dress for it!!!

I'm taking a knitting class at Unique One yarns on Saturday, but may swing by afterwards....looks like fun.

But, if it's as cold next week as it is today, I may just come back home and sit in front of the fire with my knitting.

According to AccuWeather, the high next Sat. is supposed to be 32 degrees. That I can handle!
