More high end shopping (Wegmans, BMW, Macy's, Etc.) in Charles County. Prior to the Macy's Buyout of Hecht Co., The highest sales volume Hechts store in US was actually the store in St. Charles Town Centre, largely because it drew it's clientele from multiple counties. I would strongly suspect that Charles County could enjoy the same high end retail that areas of NOVA offer if the local retail infrastructure was able to keep pace with the rapidly expanding housing growth.

Elkridge/Ellicott City needs a really great restaurant for breakfast and lunch- nothing fancy, just really good food. Especially lunch- I have yet to find a good turkey club!

Bethesda needs to get back down to earth. When I first came here over 15 years ago it was quite different from how it is now. I'm tired of sky-high rents (and "luxury condos") and being gouged to eat out, have something repaired, or park my car.
