Several of them are successful businessmen.

Anyhow, please put it back in context of why that list was posted. Those were not suggestions for who would be the next governor.

I'm as knee deep in MD politics as anyone and I've never heard of this guy.

A Harford County executive has zero chance. He might be a nice guy, but Harford County is on the outside looking in on state politics.

The problem is, outside of Ehrlich, no one has heard of any potential Republican candidate, other than E.J. Pipken and Robin Ficker. And those two were rejected by the voters.

In fairness to Pipken he was the sacrificial lamb chosen to run against Mikulski. That really shouldn't be considered a rejection.


In case anyone missed it, O' Malley endorsed Anthony Brown the other day. For whatever he wants to run for.
