Who has a worse chance of winning the Governors office in the general? As a recent DINO, I have to decide to vote for in the primary.

If either has a "worse chance" its statistically insignificant. Like I could technically have a better chance to beat a top college basketball star in a one-on-one game than beating Lebron James but it wouldnt mean anything. Another Tea Partier attempting to play dirty by mucking up our primary, very much par for the course. When will Republicans actually stop acting like maniacs to get elected rather than cheating, supressing minority votes and drawing gerrymandered districts?

What exactly are you talking about?

We need a kid's table.

The OP forgot a declared Democratic candidate. Actually Gansler hasn't yet officially declared.

Everybody knows MARYLAND STATE POLITICS are dominated by GOP gerrymandered districts, and tea party candidates mucking about in closed Democratic primaries.

I should have named the other declared candidate for the Democrats:
Helen Mizuer (D-Montgomery)

Republicans:
David Craig
Ron George
Brian Vaeth
Charles Lollar

Because I don't have a sense for it yet. If Franchot were also going to run I would call it for Brown (Franchot and Gansler split the same voters).

Funny story about Franchot: he was in Calvert County sveral months ago attending a monthly dinner with the Calvert REPUBLICAN Men's Club where he all but announced he was running for Governor. A week or ten days later he announced he wasn't. What changed/happened in that week or ten days?

The R's couldn't ask for better D candidate to run against than Brown.
They had better a few years ago (with KKT)...
but even the D's aren't so dumb as to do that to themselves again. Are they?

Yes.

Multiple standing ovations for Brown at the MD Municipal League Convention in June.

A massive rally at said Convention (invitations strongly suggesting attendance).

Heavyweight endorsements.

The Republicans really and truly have no one. The folks here in SoMD are mad for Lollar but he is even more of a lightweight than Brown, who has at least been elected to something.

The Democrat machine told Franchot that it wasn't going to be his year.
