Hello,

Stoughton may also fit into your budget and is along the commuter rail, local highways, malls, etc. I know that Lakeville has a great reputation but I'm not sure it will accomodate your budget. However, you can definitely look. When I checked, I ran a search for 3+ bedrooms and little came up. It looks as though you're selecting locations around I495, is that an area important to you?

Our budget is tight, 250K, and we, like everyone else on this board, would like a good school system (full day kindergarten?) and rail service, along with a neighborhood feel (sidewalks, bike paths?)

I'm researching Attleboro, Franklin, Lakeville, any other thoughts?
Maybe consider Middleboro as well...

Thumbs down Clark Shores = Junkyard

Yeah if you don't mind living like Sanford and Son, Clark Shores might the ticket. The condo association is asleep at the switch though. Every property is a visual disaster with trash bags, building debris, old cars/parts/trailers, etc. There are no by-laws that address this issue. Oh, and the lake is polluted from the septic systems and all the trash laying around.

jrm
