where to buy a townhouse- plainville or mansfield (Attleboro: crime rate, schools)

We want to buy a townhouse /singlefamily home in MA which should be within 30 mins commute distance from woonsocket .I am looking for more info. regarding the property taxes , crime rate and appreciation values in the past etc. of plainville, mansfield , north attleboro ,attleboro . We are a newly married couple who want to start a family in the next year or so.Which area should we consider for our first home ?

Don't buy in Attleboro, bad schools + crime increasing. North Attleborough would probably be okay away from the busier areas, sometimes the traffic is just brutal, though. I'd look in Plainville or Mansfield first. Are you limited to looking in those areas?
