Nothing wrong with W town. The area bordeing Newton is my favorite for its proximity to the square, playgrounds and the Charles walkways and Russoes naturally.
As a foreigner myself I do not buy into the "better cities" and "better schools" anymore. Feel as if someones "better" is not necesarily my "desired". Also put the kids in private school after desirable "belmonts" school. And happy with my decission.
Know plenty of very succesfull people who lived and got schooled in W town. Harvard is not on everyone's "desirable" list. Bentley seems much nicer to me among other great schools out there.
It is still up to the kids to decide. Stanford anyone? Ithaca?
