Refreshing to see that the FBI and Boston police took out someone on their watch list. Another scum bites the dust, good to see!

I agree. And yes people are upset and demanding to see the video. I don't know what this world is coming to sometimes. Gotta make sure terrorists get treated properly.

I agree too. And why would people be upset over seeing an American hater being taken out. From what I've scene they gave em every chance.

Why do we need video as i trust American Law Enforcement. This guy wasn't on the watch list for being a Saint!

It seems their being quiet on him, not reveling much info as of yet as it's in ongoing investigation and all.

Anyone who comes after the police with a knife when they are yelling at him to get back deserves to be shot. What are the cops supposed to do? Stand there and be killed? It said on tv he was recruited on the internet. It also said he was on his cell phone to his father. Kind of confusing and now his family is in mourning for him. If they knew what he was up to, why didn't they try to stop him!

I don't know all of the facts of the case - really just the tidbits I read on boston.com. That being said, if he was under surveillance and when the police went to arrest him he attacked them with a knife, then he probably got what he deserved.

But I have to question some of the tactics of the FBI/Police and some of the comments made by other posters here.
1. If they were watching him 24 hours a day, is it possible that they knew he had the knife? If so, why did they go after him when it was possible he could use the knife against them. I'd still prefer he be taken alive because he could provide more information about other potential terrorists in the area.
2. Sorry guys, but just shooting people suspected of terrorism is wrong and un-American. He needs to be put on trial and he needs to be judged by a jury. If the police are given the powers to just shoot anyone they deem a "threat" then we're going to have a lot more innocent victims dead. This exact thing happened in Thailand years ago. Thailand: Not Enough Graves: IV. HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES IN THE WAR ON DRUGS I don't want that to happen here.
