There's a lot of influx from the Randolph area too. Plus it's a most accessible suburban mall -- all you do is hop on the Expressway/93 South. Or go the back way down Rte. 28 to 93.

I was there not long ago and, truth to tell, I noticed all colors, all races  If there was trouble brewing, I was unaware. Then again, I was there during a weekday afternoon.

Default Re

Nothing wrong with diversity but it's just interesting how the place has changed so much in the past 15 years and it's not for the better it seems.

Ive also noticed the same thing about castle island. It used to be a place where mostly south of boston people went. Now i go and im not sure which country im in

12 or 13 years ago, I worked PT security at a certain retailer there. We had an influx of cliental from Mattapan and Dorchester, but they never purchased anything. They were only there to "return" stuff.

They dont call it a ghetto mall for nothing i guess. Glad no one was hurt.
In the early 90s, there was a shooting at the former Dedham Mall. Back in the 80s, that was still the local "place to go". It never really recovered after that. I don't really see the SSP going that way, but we never know considering all the other challenges faced by retail today.

The police found and arrested one of the perpetrators, someone named Michael Spence but no media source will explicitly state where he lives. Why?

The media seems to be quoting what they were given by the Braintree police who didn't disclose it.

Thats right too. The Rapper was from Easton. Was there not a struggle, a lawsuit, and mace sprayed around? or am i getting the incidents at South Shore Plaza mixed up.

Seems odd for the Braintree police to not disclose where this perp lives. Someone commits DUI for example, and their name and address is immediately disclosed. A shooting in a mall is far worse. What is with the secrecy?
