Did they really? Mass, where you can't get poppers or roses... party poopers.

Yeah man. Party is over. You can still get fresh socks for huffing spray paint though.

Ummmmmm. yeah you could pretty much beat up a hooker while buying fireworks and crack at a 7-11 in West Warwick on a Tuesday night. Not a single person would give a ****

and I actually love that about RI

LOL, yikes, not sure how I feel about that, but there is decidedly more hedonism down here. I don't think I noticed it as much in my teens and 20s when spending time down in Providence as Boston still had plenty of places for sketch then too (the bathrooms of ManRay, woah).

My guest room gets plenty of visits from Boston area folks coming down to have a good time.

I'm not a fan of them. I never had much interest in them except a brief middle school phase when me and friend would trek nervously to a basketball court in the North End where we handed cash to this dude who disappeared and came back with a brown bag of whistling bottle rockets (etc).

Most of my friends in RI hate them though as they're everywhere and it freaks out their dogs. Some even have to give em tranquilizers in early July.

The prices at the Fall River shop (Northeast Alternatives) look decent. Ounces range from $200 to $360, and there are several nice looking strains between $200 and $220.

If I recall correctly, I think everything is $350 in Leicester and Northampton.

Here's the Fall River menu: https://nealternatives.com/menu/

This place is expected to start recreational sales in early January, and it's less than a 1/4 mile from the RI line.

Note that none of the prices mentioned in this post (or shown on that menu) include the 20% tax.

Does anyone here have concerns about showing your ID and/or using a debit card at these places?

I may be a bit paranoid but it's still illegal on the federal level.
