over 50% of the jobs are in the burbs so not everyone even takes the train in.

What's your fascination with suburban jobs?

Fair enough but are we discussing a 6 minute difference?

Absolutely. Just ask Semiurbanite. That's a full hour a week you don't get to spend with your family.

We’re dealing with some pretty sophisticated algorithms here. I don’t look at it as 6 minutes; I look at it as a data input error that artificially inflates Natick’s desirability by 20%.

So weston and wellesley are artificially inflated as well?

Sharon is less desirable because the suburban commute from Sharon to 128 and to 495 is not that good. You are right the train is quick to south station so it has that as an advantage. But it has a disadvantage on the suburban commute.. That counts for a lot. 60% + of the total jobs are out on 128 and 495. There is as much office space in the heart of 128 as there is in Boston.

Also it looks like Sharon's commuter rail doesn't stop in yawkee. The 2 high value stops it lands at are back bay and south station.

the worcester line additionally goes to Yawkee which is a 12min walk to longwood. There are also some new developments in the Yawkee area.

I would guess most people who live in Natick work in Natick or Framingham or on 128. I know there are plenty of people who do work in Boston but I'd guess that's the minority

There's TJX, Staples, IDG, Ameresco Mathworks, Boston Scientific. There's plenty of jobs near Natick

I agree.

Most in Natick work on 128, natick/framingham, or on 495/mass pike area.

I'd say around 25-35% work in Boston/Cambridge.
