Boras is saying that Graterol is healthy and the reason for the "hiccup" is not Graterol's health.

Ken Rosenthal has suggested it's possible that the negative media reaction to the trade has given Red Sox ownership pause.

What an entirely mean-spirited comment.
It wasn't meant to be mean spirited, but it is similar to how many Americans don't care about soccer. Yes I get that some do and we have recent immigrants that follow soccer, but generally Americans only really care about football.

With the current baseball cheating scandal (not the first or second including steroids which still hasn't completely been solved), I just don't see many people invested in baseball. I really think it is a dying sport. I'm slightly older than a millennial, but I don't know anyone under 40 who really cares or follows baseball. I even know many friends and relatives who played baseball (a few very well) and they can't stand and don't follow the sport. The vast majority of my friend's kids have zero interest in playing baseball.

So, I know Fenway sells out cause there its a historic type thing and it is a small stadium, but most don't watch or care. Crap, even most of the people there just brag they are there and don't watch the game. And even the sell out thing is ridiculous cause as soon as the Red Sox start to suck people are giving away tickets left and right.

The Red Sox signed Benintendi to a 2 year, $10 million deal.

Would anyone to expect Boras to say his client isn't healthy?

I fear we'll go back to being fair weather fans and half empty Fenway.

That’s pre-1967. I’m old enough to remember it as a little kid. I certainly remember the pre-Bledsoe Patriots and empty Sullivan Stadium. I think Fenway will still draw with a .500 team but the NESN cash cow doesn’t look sustainable. I don’t think the YES Network is sustainable either so the era of $200+ million payrolls should tail off and the Red Sox will still be able to afford a large market payroll. It might be $150 million in 2020 dollars as cable TV revenue declines.
