Looking for good school district and shorter commute to office. My office is in Lakeville. We have High Schooler in Grade 10 and a grade 3 kid. Looking for good school by ratings and apartment. Searched a bit and found Sharon and Westwood. But Sharon seems low on availability in apartments and Westwood is high in rent.

How is North Quincy high school?
Thinking if that too but need some advice as for a high Schooler good school that gets kids ready for College is must.

Thank you and looking for your advice and suggestions.

Westwood and North Quincy aren't really near Lakeville, especially North Quincy.

Try Mansfield. There are apartments there and the schools are decent. To the south of Lakeville, Mattapoisett and Marion have good schools but probably apartments would be scarce.

The furthest I'd look is Franklin/Wrentham/Foxborough to the West. Kingston is pretty good, Plymouth not as good but not bad. I think some of the towns along 44 on the MA side of the RI border are pretty good too.

Avoid Taunton, New Bedford and Fall River though.

I also strongly advise against commuting from Westwood or Quincy to Lakeville.

Sharon is a good option.

Easton too. Freetown-Lakeville isn't bad either, but not quite up there with those others.

I understand you're joking, but this is why I don't believe his threads belong of this forum. Someone relocating and searching the forum archives might actually think Easton is some crime infested town, when reality suggests it's a perfectly pleasant town.

You know. Considering it’s a reverse commute, maybe Westwood or Quincy to Lakeville wouldn’t be as awful as I thought. Like it’s still probably an hour drive each way, but some people might be ok with that?

If you’re reeeeally into the high school rankings, Westwood always performs very well.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
