What we know about COVID vaccines and 'extremely rare' heart problems

“The take-home point is that the best way to prevent myocarditis or an inflammatory cardiac condition in the pandemic setting is to get vaccinated,” Miglis said. “Because your risk of getting that from COVID is much, much higher than from a vaccine.”

Just got my third booster last Saturday, the bivalent. I had my injections March 2 and 23, 2021, my previous boosters October 7, 2021 and May 27, 2022, and Covid September 2-11, 2022 (asymptomatic). Still going strong. I have minor long Covid with occasional sudden exhaustion spells, which could just as easily be from the fact that I am 65 and still working full-time from the law office.

Denial of what? I fully acknowledge the 131 people who suffered myocarditis out of the 123 million who received Covid shots. You happy now?

I am well aware of it. I don't live my life in panic.

Next?

And that number is what, 32 now? You sure seem worried about this stuff. Do you know how many people have suffered a stroke after getting Covid?

I mean...this is bordering on ludicrous. The death toll from Covid itself is >1M in the US alone. Is any vaccine perfect? No, but the benefits far outweigh the risks. This is literally one of the most monitored vaccine rollouts in world history. Talk instead about the lives saved!

LOL, yes - I checked out of this thread a good while back and it's for exactly this reason. You can cite all the science that you want, but for those who want to believe that the virus is safe and the vaccines are dangerous - nothing will sway them, whether you argue for 5 minutes or 5 years.

I'm one of the minority; I believe that the vaccine is safe and strongly recommend it. I believe that the virus was radically overblown, almost to the extent that climate change is overblown.
