I’m not a beer person per se but I had a bottle of wormtown beer over the weekend and it was really good!

I don’t like uber-bitter American IPA. I prefer a lightly hopped ale. English pub pint of bitter. Generally in cooler weather, I’ll drink Switchback if I see it on tap. Unobtrusive. I’m more likely to drink wheat beers in the summer. I prefer to buy microbrewery varieties but I’ll happily drink a Blue Moon or a Shock Top if there are no other options.

Wasn't a huge fan of Wormtown when I tried it. Can't remember which one it was, I'll have to try it again sometime.

Guinness

Molson XXX (their premium)

Sapporo

Hoegaarden

Not into craft beer. Too many long-named soapy/tart IPAs that taste horrible.

I don’t drink enough to remember the ones I like.

Have you tried that Beer brewed in Maine, “Maine Brewery”. I thought it was pretty good.

Peroni for a drinkable house beer.

One of several Treehouse IPAs (Very Green, etc.) if I'm in the mood for that.

Maine Beer Co. indeed has some outstanding brews, as does Hill Farmstead in VT.

We've been into checking out the local beer scene for a while, but we put an added emphasis on supporting the local breweries during the Quarantine.

Channel Marker in Beverly emerged as our go-to. Worth the drive. My girlfriend loves their sours (the "Siren" series), and my favorite from them is "Beacon of Light" - a honey oat IPA. It's not even a little bitter, it's super smooth (thanks to the oat and honey), and it's not as artificial or as cloyingly sweet as the milkshake/lactose IPAs out there that I really can't drink anymore.

We have also made our way to Vitamin Sea in Weymouth a few times which is IPA and Sour heavy (some stouts and the odd specialty occasionally), but what they do, they do exceptionally well. The lines aren't as bad in recent months, and they don't sell out as fast. They've really nailed the cans-to-go only model (but I can't wait for the taproom again). Love Treehouse, but they had a one case minimum for the bulk of quarantine, so we never made it out there.

In addition, we've made frequent trips to Trillium (Mosaic Cutting Tiles is my favorite), Canned Heat in Fall River (Coxes Ledge is my favorite there), and Bone Up in Everett (there one of the few local ones doing a lot of variety - not just IPAs). Girlfriend's family lives in Vermont, and we stop frequently at Foam in Burlington and River Roost in White River Junction - neither place brews a bad beer. Her parents live about 3 mintues from Lawson's Finest Liquids, so we have had basically everything they offer too.

For more mass produced stuff, I still really like some of the Sam Adams specialties - Brick Red, Cold Snap, Old Fezziwig, etc. I also like a Hoegaarden Original White.
