Moving to Metro west area and we are looking for private schools for kid (7 grade). Meadowbrook school of weston appears to be a potential choice. We could not find any school ranking information. Does anyone know how this school is ranked in Boston metro area? Is it a highly selective school based on academic merit or not that selective and accepting all applicants who can afford the tuition? How is the academic quality compared with public middle school in Weston or Newton? Thanks!

My wife works as a private school admissions consultant and says the Meadowbrook school is an excellent school.
thanks! We could not find any ranking info, so not sure if it is just an expensive private school for rich families. We are looking for a selective school with rigorous academic requirement.
We have friends there who have moved their kids from other well-regarded private schools. Meadowbrook has a relatively small student population relative to the size of the facilities which has helped them handle the pandemic well. It's known for a warm community environment with rigorous academics.
I have no doubt the larger issue will be getting into the school. Private school applications have gone through the roof in the last year and many don't have open seats for new students at this point because it's so late in the year.
