Remembering last year.. and how Baker after 5/31 riots called ArNG every time riots were about to happen … can you imagine if we had our potential candidates? Boston would turn into Portland or Seattle…

There’s a lot more to MA than just Boston and camberville, we might end up with Diehl if the other choice is some communist cosplay defundie whackadoo so Walsh makes perfect sense.

Developing nation that produce more in a month than a year of the U.S.? There is only one country that puts out more C02 in a year total than the USA. That's China. And they do not put out more in a month than a year here. They happen to be third in nuclear power production as well and a leader in building more. Only three countries with more methane, China, Russia, and India. Two of those have much larger populations. Total numbers we suck. Per capita we suck more.

So much for "sane" people. I guess that's a synonym for uneducated right wingers around here on stormfront light.

Republicans that adopt this anti science and anti intellectual positions wont' get far here. Baker had none of that, just a solid technocrat with a steady hand.

Baker has been savaged here on CD forums by those on the right for doing something about the pandemic, and by those on the left for not doing enough about the pandemic. To me, he hasn't been playing the rhetorical games that many other governors have been, he's smart, pragmatic and has had a no-nonsense approach. I know many don't share this view, but to me, realistically, I don't know what more one can ask for.

Look… My family is in science and engineering since 19th century. We are immigrants from USSR and my mom (in her 70ies) is still a principal engineer of one of leading companies here. We are not really “right wingers” by any means . It’s just something doesn’t add up. Really doesn’t.

Also why would we trust progressives, especially one that is most critical of Baker, if part of her agenda is supporting law breakers (public housing & Medicaid for illegal aliens, pardon undocumented migrants).

Annissa Essaibi-Geogre is considering a run for govenor. What about a George-Walsh Ticket?
Not sure about that - I saw this in this Politico article:

Quote:
While sources say that Walsh is processing a potential run and is not leaning any way yet, his chief of staff Daniel Koh is seriously considering entering the race for lieutenant governor, according to two sources familiar with his thinking. Should both choose to mount bids, they could potentially run as a ticket.

Westie, understand that Geoff Diehl has a snowballs chance in hell of winning gubernatorial office.

Diversity means inclusion, not complete exclusion just because. Do you agree?

And it’s funny. NPR twitted congratulations to Wu about her election, then removed that insensitive twit and expressed sorrow that real people of color didn’t win. Identity politics is sickening. (I’m not a fan of Wu)

Not gonna lie, this is something I consider. I am averse to progressivism in general because many progressive politicians not only seem overly permissive of widespread violence & destruction, but apologists for it.
