One is on Route 6 in Somerset (replacing a "New England for Trump" store) and there's also one on North Washington Street in North Attleborough.

“Let’s Go Brandon” stores open in Somerset, Attleboro

"The “Let’s Go Brandon” social media fascination began when an NBC reporter incorrectly described a chant of “F*** Joe Biden” by spectators during a NASCAR race."

He must have done pretty well with Trump stores.

I don't like his business or what he is selling, but I give the guy credit for taking advantage of the phenomenon.

If you don't like what the stores are selling, don't frequent them. There's not much else to be said.

It's interesting that these stores are popping up in a state like Massachusetts. Are they anywhere else? I never heard of them before.

While i'm not a fan of Biden, this whole "Let's go Brandon" think seems rather childish and immature.

However, i give the guy credit for trying to capitalize on what's trending. He had quite a few stores around the state and I always saw folks at the one near me.

My next door neighbor has a "Let's Go Brandon" flag on the flagpole under the Stars and Stripes. While amusing, I'm not sure I would appreciate it if my house was for sale, as it's best to keep things neutral.

I think people tend to forget that nearly a third of the 3,600,000+ votes in 2020 were for Trump. In terms of election results, that's a blowout. But that's still a sizeable chunk of the population that make for potential customers for a business like this one (and doesn't even include people who didn't vote, couldn't vote, visitors from out of state, etc.).

I'm definitely not a Trump and/or "Let's Go Brandon" guy (or the type to enjoy any of the "my guy is awesome your guy sucks!" side of politics), but I have zero issue with this at all. I thought the cult-like obsession with Trump was extremely weird (nobody should be that passionately infatuated with a human being that they've never met), but mocking/panning a politician you don't like is pretty standard practice and has been for a long time. And frankly, "Let's Go Brandon" isn't as outwardly crude as a lot of the "F*** Trump!" stickers, magnets, and flags that were out and about during the previous administration. So yeah, no real controversy here. If you don't like it, don't shop there.

I agree. I don't think I'd shop there, but you don't need a majority of the population as customers to have a viable business model.

I deplore the personality cults in politics that we have had in the last couple of presidencies before Biden. I thought that the personality cult around both Obama and Trump were a bit dangerous. We should care about policies, strategy and even character, not personality. Personality cults blind us to what is really happening, and are more a feature of unstable third world countries that what we should aspire to be. I think the personality cults we have had have been either a cause or symptom of our political decline.

I also agree that after all the stuff that was out there about Trump, Biden supporters have no cause to complain about this. And based on the substance of his trainwreck of a presidency so far, I can certainly understand the sentiment. I just think we'd do better with constructive ideas to replace the lunacy and stupidity that has taken over our government, rather than a strategy of getting down into the gutter with the rats.

Regardless of position, just glad we live in a free country where this type of sentiment can be freely expressed, without legal consequences!

Yes and yes.

I remember seeing many trucks running around my town with Trump flags flying, despite this area not being a particular Trump stronghold. That was what I always thought - so glad they feel comfortable doing that in an area where they are in a minority. It means here at least we've got that much right.
