Yup, doesn't do much but let the benefactors feel delusioned that they are "doing something."

What sort of concerns me as … we already have so many casinos. People spend money they don’t have. Who will take care of them? In Monte Carlo citizens of Monaco cannot play in casinos for a reasons. Why not open something that will generate money different way.

Regardless of who is operating to see no game sense does a pretty good job about self-exclusion if somebody says that they've got a problem gambling they can literally put themselves on a list and prevent themselves from actual gambling in any of the casinos. Directions Services often times can easily pivot and adapt to different forms of addiction I already know about a organization on the South Shore which has been providing Addiction Services since Massachusetts State Lottery is already been around for the past 45 - 50 years.

I would have to imagine that getting investment for a casino in Bristol County will be far tougher now than it was over a decade ago. Several casinos are now within an hour drive. Twin River has a facility off Route 24 in Tiverton-RI that is literally on the border with Fall River. Twin River has an even bigger operation in Lincoln-RI. There is also the slots parlor Plainridge just up Route 495 in Plainville. There is also the Encore Boston Harbor in Everett. The CT casinos are also not all that much more than an hour from much of SE Mass as well. The area is now quite saturated with gambling options.

^^ that's very true. To be frank I don't really see the tribes finding another partner. Brockton proposal was hardly anything to region c. So if they really thought the tribes could do it they'd be scrambling more. Carney knows horse racing, it's in his blood but it isn't casinos.
