What a rude reply- seriously - are you unhappy in life? I am trying to let them know about something called burn out and how they might think it is okay at first but hate it a year in.
WHERE did the person you are replying to say ANYTHING about where they have to commute to? Maybe they work in Auburn the next town over (imagine that). But I get it, it's all about you...
A bad commute is a bad commute for most people. It's not an unreasonable thing to say. We comment on commutes all the time. Why is Sutton different?
Usually we are discussing a particular location one has to commute TO ie. "how bad is a commute from Sutton to Waltham in the a.m.?". But that never came up here. Person said they are happy with the town. End of story. Guess it's not OK for one to be satisfied where they are.

OP told us it would be Belmont they're commuting to. Not exactly the next town over, more like a dreadful daily commute!

Well, that's what the ignore list is for. I'll give people multiple chances, but if there is this ongoing pattern of rudeness, disproportionate anger, conspiracy theories, bigotry, etc - they just get added to ignore. I won't get anything out of hearing that stuff and it's only aggravating.

OP hasn't been back since July. New poster bumped it with entirely different circumstances.
New poster already lives in Sutton. Posters are answering the OP with the information that it is a bad commute from Sutton to Belmont. At least if you have to do it daily.
Of course, like you said the OP hasn't been back since July.
Which is why I thought that post was uncalled for. If it was an honest mistake it was an honest mistake, but failing to pay attention to "minor" details like OP dates can be extremely confusing to the reader.

A quarter million people work in Worcester.
For me, Sutton would be a 15 minute commute. That's not a bad commute.
Or it's a 20 minute commute to CVS in Woonsocket.
Or 40 minutes of clear highway to the edge of Providence (it would be AWFUL going downtown Providence every day though, 146 backs up miles every morning)
