You're missing the point, amigo. They can't vote until they become citizens. Which takes a LONG time. That's why the "Dems want to create new voters" theory is pure BS and fearmongering. Heck, the DACA folks need to be dealt with long before these new arrivals.

Don't ya know? They're all being coached to vote Dem illegally to keep that never ending flow of free stuff coming. Yup, they're risking deportation to vote. Duh. I know no evidence can be found of that, but search your heart, Luke, you know it to be true

Right amigo, it takes a long time to enter US through legal channels and it takes even longer to become a citizen. But like I said before, if mumbling asylum jefe, asylum lets you waltz in instantly because Uncle Joe & Co said so, what's stopping Uncle Joe & Co from changing other rules as well?

The evidence is staring you in the face that this ain't happening. DACA folks would be first in line for "rule change" and they've been waiting for how long now? That's my point.

Without massive immigration Boston would look more like St. Louis, Buffalo or Cleveland and Lowell would still be tryin to differentiate itself from Youngstown.

even with all the tech, biopharma and education institutions we have here? As a city we end up gaining college grads who aren't from here every year.

Homie, miniscule given the total population, not massive "immigration" of a little over 10,000 asylum jefe, asylum illegals is already costing NYC a cool billion a year.

I am not sure tech and biopharma would’ve taken off without the major improvements to Boston that were in large part the results by immigrants revitalizing and stabilizing neighborhoods that were abandoned and high crime- they did ALOT to make places more vibrant and viable and to stem the effects of white flight.

Education institutions were always there b it didn’t stop much of the city from becoming rough. They exist in high concentrations in other cities that aren’t as successful. Boston got a lot of immigrants relatively early closer to most major US cities.

Boston is very fortunate that in the 1980s we financialized the economy and costs of healthcare and education skyrocketed

Homie, I know the hustle must be hustled and the grift must be grifted but let's be honest for a minute. The herd pouring across the border nonstop demanding jefe grants them asylum y mucho taxpayer dinero did not make Boston's biotech into what it is today. It did, however make Lawrence into Lawrence and Chelsea into Chelsea.

I mean white flight didn't happen in the areas the biotech/pharma companies are in now. White flight was out of places like Dorchester, Hyde park, roslindale, southie, west rox. Now many have returned to those places.
