Oh, and that makes your inference all the better. I happen to be fluent in 2 languages other than English, am a 100% US citizen, and damn proud of both facts. You need to expand your world view just a tad.

In this midst of this fighting, could someone please explain to me the procedure for entering the country if you do not do it the legal way. My husband came here the legal way--paperwork, fees, background check, medical check, more fees, interview, a sponsor who legally swore to provide for him so that he would never collect welfare, over a year of waiting in his country for permission to immigrate, receive a green card (and more fees!)
So if you just meander over the border, what happens? In search of a better life should not qualify. Send home. But do they get sent back? Who are the people who end up getting bussed all over the country? and why? If they are asylum seekers they're supposed to have a court hearing. Why aren't the asylum seekers held in some sort of dorms until the time for their hearings? Or maybe they are. They aren't just turned loose in Texas or sent on a bus somewhere in the US. Are they? How does our asylum system work?
There are holding facilities but they fill up and have to be emptied for the next group of arrivals. Legally, the government is limited as to how long they can be held. They are given a future court date where they are supposed to show up. At that point, they can ask the court for asylum.
The ones bussed all over the country by the government are usually met by charity groups who pick them up at the airports and provide housing.
Some have money for a bus ticket to a destination where they have friends or relatives.
Then you have the ones who are just released on the streets in some city or town in Texas or Arizona, becoming a big problem for those areas. They are the ones on the busses provided by Gov. Abbott and Gov. Ducey, headed to Washington DC or NYC.

How about...it's OUR country. And it belongs equally to the customers or workers in MB who happen to not be speaking English just for this poster's listening pleasure.
Not necessary though and needlessly inconveniencing yourself. If the staff speaks English then you're all set.
