Hello Everyone,

If one were to go to Boston and watch the game in the area, where would the best bar be to watch the New York Yankees at? Focus in on Boston, Worcester area, Quincy and Somerville. Specifically Boston and the Worcester area. I found older threads but literally all the bars are closed lol. I fyou have multiple suggestions throughout the state that would help too.

Any Yankees fans out there in MA?

*EDIT: This is not for me. This is for my 25 y/o friend from Lee, MA who is a Yankees fan moving to Boston and I could not think of any bars in Central and Eastern Massachusetts that played the Yankees. Maybe by BU?*

You should go to their FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/108743226239/?ref=share

That said, this isn't a city like DC or Charlotte NC that lost or never really had a strong regional identity where you may find a variety of bars supporting out-of-area sports teams. It's Boston and we;re talking about its arch rival team. So I don't expect a lot of resources on that front. There are a lot of NY transplants here but not sure there are enough to keep a local bar viable. There might be some off the beaten path options on/near colleges that have lots of NY natives. NEU usually does, but I don't know of any around there and it's located in Red Sox territory. I'm guessing Western MA may have some.

Imagine that, sports bars that show Yankees games have gone out of business in Massachusetts. Shocking!

The only time you will find the Yankees on television in a Massachusetts bar is when they are playing the Red Sox, and maybe during the playoffs, unless the Bruins or Celtics are on at the same time.

Most Yankees fans around Boston are ashamed to admit it. Try Rhode Island.

I know a pretty good Yankees bar. Go to Logan Airport, then walk out to the end of runway 4R. Stand there and hold your thumb up, the secret code for entry will be granted.

Shared this group. Thanks.

Western MA has quite a few as the Berkshires are a 60/40 split, as well as RI and CT of course.

I saw on /r/NYYankees/ (reddit) that some Yankees fans were going to watch the games at The Greatest Bar by North Station.
