I use Allstate and my premium increased 50% for the new year, without changing any policy, and there is no traffic violation.

I called the agent and was told it is a change applied to the whole state. That sounds unbelievable.
I wonder if others have the same experience.

I renewed this summer and noticed a spike too with no violations/accidents. I also got a new vehicle so hard to say. However, I think in part we can all thank the unlicensed, suspended/revoked and un-insured operators when they get into accidents for this!

I was going to say the same thing. Blame it on MA again and allowing unlicensed and uninsured people on the road. Disgrace.

I haven't noticed any spike in mine yet.

Was there a spike in accidents involving uninsured operators?

Don't know the stats, but someone has to pick up the tab for the ones that are uninsured so who do you think pays the price on that? Also, MA car crash deaths are at an 11 year high so that comes into play i'm sure too! https://www.masslive.com/news/2022/0...ven-worse.html

Just checked mine.

Mine dropped $24, or just under 2%. No changes at all from 2021. Policy renewed this past Oct so it's recent. I'm with Mapfre.

I'll take it.

Well, today I had to ask a plumber to come check some water leak. He eventually confirmed what I already found (by cutting a wall), and said he could not fix it and recommended someone else. Then I was charged over $300.

Suddenly I felt the insurance is cheap.
