So, now you have discovered the reason why you see so many men with long hair. I'll bet you thought it was some sort of cultural thing.

I think if you ask around you can probably find someone trained that works out of their home or will come to yours.

I see there are three Supercuts on Maui, and they charge $20 for a man's haircut, so that pretty well sets the pace. But check Craigslist under "beauty" and search for "barber" and you might get lucky... one of the apprentices in Kahului did two days of free haircuts a couple of weeks ago and announced it there.

Craigslist also has listings for several "mobile" hair stylists, but they charge more... for the convenience, you know?

Maui Barber Shop in Kihei, next to the movie theatre in Kukui Mall, seems to be the price leader at $18.

And if all else fails, I see that Long's Drugs has headbands and hair scrunchies on sale.

Get one of these, with the attachments, put it alongside the Zojirushi rice cooker, to hand down to your grandkids when you make. As fas as advice about having grandkids, you're on your own.

Personally I've always used Wahl. I think Longs Drugs has them on sale.

How does it do on "problem areas"? Are there personal attachments available for the fair sex?

I wouldn't recommend applying Spwinkies, (patent pending), to any 'problem' areas. They are for internal use only. If you meant the Oster 76, if it can't be done with vice grips, duck tape, WD40, or any combination of the three, it simply can't be done.

uuurrrrppppp, scuze me. I'm here for the contest, REALLY!!!!!!!!!

see what 38 years in Hawaii will do to a guy?
