Hola Traveling Man, A couple of things, Thanks for your comment on driving as THAT IS WHAT I ALWAYS DO as I do not want to think I may have missed anything ! The past two years I drove, 7,011 mile and 7,8?? from my home in Escondido and back. I never really know where I am going until I get there or where until I return home as I hate schedules and reservations. A suggestion , when someone is posting pictures I, for one, would love it if they would tell what kind of a camera they were using. I enjoyed the pictures of the Indigenous cultures as I lived with the Seri in Punta Chueca and Disemboque and they are like family to me. You hear a lot of stories about them but people only talk about the bad. They are an incredibly caring, loving and talented people that I dearly love. I have also lived with the Zapotec and the Mixteca of Oaxaca. I have friends of the Huichole that were , years ago, a difficult people to be come friends with but once you do it is great. This is the first year in 40 years that I have not been in Mexico . I was in Tijuana just before Christmas and I was the only white person and I walked for blocks, I was there the week after all of the police had been put in jail ! Once I get some pictures in here I will probably need lots of help. Nice to have you for a friend, Greatbaseball

Mexico is nice and all but still too poor. My mom just returned from Mexico City and her and her mom were robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight. The robber also pistolwhipped the both of them. My mom being 58 and grandma 79. Disgusting. The government should be focusing on making thieves feel afraid of the law like what they are doing to the cartels. but oh well.

Default More pics of Rocky Point, Mexico

I have another half dozen photos of Puerto Penasco which were sent to me by a reader of my blog, but I don't have his permission to post them here. Is it OK to send a link to them? They're photos of Christmas-New Years 2008. I hope this link is OK, they're very nice photos.

Rocky Point, Mexico in Pictures

Let's see more pictures here from other parts of Mexico!

Mexico City looks really great in these pictures. I would love to visit, but I remain concerned about crime and poverty.

I have been to other cities in Mexico several times, but never to Mexico City.

Thank you everyone who has posted photos. I've travelled to 45+ countries but never to Mexico. Its on my list.. but not high on the list (until I saw these photos).

I love the photos of the old colonial architecture and scenic beauty the best; I could care less for malls and modern buildings..

the problem there won't be resolved until they strengthen their labor laws and pay their people a fair wage.

That has nothing to do with anything. Other nations have much lower wages than Mexico and have a lot less crime. The United States would be wise to decrease the minimum wage as to raising it.
